Wastewater management is our priority. Our treatment plant recovers 6,300,000 liters of water per year. Effluent treatment is conducted in our facility, recovering 80% of the volume of water used in the production process. For this, we have three concrete pools where we collect the wastewater to be treated in two reactors using a physical-chemical process, followed by filtration to separate the sludge from the water. We have a laboratory to monitor and control daily treatments. The sludge is sent to authorized treatment facilities. The treated water is stored in three tanks and reintroduced into the production circuit.
